HI THERE! I am beyond excited to welcome you to my new holistic health and wellness blog! This is not just another health blog that focuses on the latest trends and popular treatments though. Get ready for an unconventional look at health, vitality, and longevity from a holistic, energetic, and ancestral perspective!

I am confident that the resources available on this site (with much more coming soon!) will save you time, money, and energy on your own path to creating more health and freedom in your life. And, my hope is that you will reach goals faster, with less confusion and overwhelm.

Why I Started This New Blog

When first considering starting a new holistic health & wellness blog, I knew I would focus on gut health and ancestral nutrition. I’d write about my personal experiences with gut issues, overcoming them, and everything I learned along the way. I felt like there should be more to it than that, though.

To heal the root cause(s) of any dis-ease in a truly holistic way, we need to look at the whole person. We are more than our physical bodies. We exist on the mental, emotional, and ethereal planes as well. When I started addressing issues this way in my own life, I finally began to see significant improvements in my health and well-being. Indeed, radical self-care would also have to be a crucial part of this blog.

By addressing all aspects of ourselves, we can achieve the state of wellness we are worthy of—and deserve! Nutrient-dense real food is the first step and our greatest ally in this process. But, being mindful of everything we put into our body temples (food as well as thoughts, emotions, toxins, etc.) is the key to engaging its innate healing capacity.

This is why I created this blog—to share my knowledge and help you optimize your health in the best possible way. The ultimate goal is to empower you to become a clear vessel in which to raise your consciousness, so you can go out and change the world!

How I Chose The Name

The name of this site has a lot of meaning packed into it. Each word is an integral part of what I hope to achieve with my content. And, it speaks to what I feel is the most important thing we can do in our lives: listen to the wisdom that exists within us. How This Site Can Help You

I have learned a lot from my healing journey and plan on sharing everything I discovered along the way on this new holistic health and wellness blog. My road has been long, and the path continues! But, the integration of ancient wisdom and modern science has enabled me to improve my life in many ways. And I want the same for you.

I don’t believe in quick fixes for sustainable health and growth. Instead, I advocate for developing a positive mindset, establishing healthy habits, and connecting with the wisdom of the earth, our ancestors, and our higher self.

But, don’t worry, we’re not aiming for perfection here! As humans, we are inherently imperfect, and that’s okay! Instead, we seek to realign habits and choices with long-term goals. Stacking small changes into our daily life and living by the 80/20 rule (unless you’re currently dealing with a serious health challenge) moves us toward sustainable transformation.

So, no matter what your current goal is, whether it’s:

  • eliminating toxins
  • increasing immunity
  • rebuilding digestion
  • balancing hormones
  • regaining energy
  • improving sleep
  • reducing chronic pain
  • managing stress and anxiety
  • addressing the root cause(s) of an autoimmune condition

Many recipes will have tutorials for incorporating traditional methods into your daily kitchen routines. There will also be tons of fermentation, herbal remedy, personal care, and non-toxic household cleaning recipes listed there in the future!

Another feature is the recommended resources page. This page is the culmination of all my favorite products and services that I love, trust, and use in my own life. I write blog posts about some of these products (like the best collagen peptides brand) and services (like the best meal planning app). These posts explain, in detail, how that product or service can help you cultivate a healthful ancestral lifestyle in a modern, easy, and doable way. But I decided to put all the things on one page, with a summary or link to the post if there is one, so you can find what you may be looking for more easily.

Final Thoughts

I started this blog with a desire to connect with like-minded people who are taking charge of their health in a natural holistic way. I wanted to create a space to share my passion for gut health, ancestral nutrition, and radical self-care. A place to share my experiences with functional medicine, nutrient-dense recipes using traditional methods, ancient ferments, herbal remedies, functional fitness, neuroscience, and energy medicine (including sound healing, kinesiology, and energy psychology). Sacred Inner Wisdom is about holistic wellness from an ancestral perspective but blended with modern conveniences to make life easier.

Much of the dis-ease we experience today is due, in part, to our disconnection from ourselves, nature, and the wisdom of our ancestors. But, our bodies are incredibly resilient, and if given the appropriate tools, we can create the inner conditions necessary (on all levels: physical, mental, emotional, energetic, spiritual), so they can heal to become a clear vessel and unlock our full potential.
